My only worry is if Marriot is ok

Subbed because he was on a yellow. He is fine.

I would not be risking Marriott,Lundstram, Baines and E. Jones ( no LB cover ).
Much weaker team if we lose one of the CM, god forbidden, both.
The semi final is far too big of game to risk certain players.
Not ideal but Perritt, Osborne, Pringle could play CM for 1 game.

Yeah poor game.
Much better with Marriott and Lundstram CM.
Don't buzz watching us play that formation, really missing us have wingers.Where is Sinclair?
Linney should be starting, he is far more dangerous than Hulme and Hugill.
Big rotation Tuesday. Should give the likes of Bennett, Pringle etc some much needed minutes.

Play our strongest 11 on Sat.

Just read Oyedele isn't available. Need him for Halifax.

GK Byrne

RB MWH
CB J.Jones
CB Baines
LB E.Jones

CM Marriott
CM Lundstram

LW Sinclair
RW New Guy ?
10. Hulme

ST Linney

Then big rotation for Tuesday.

Highly unlikely the new lad from Oldham will get a start when he’s not really featured much there this season. I suspect Osbourne will be a starter.

Jordan's not a number 10 either.

Also, not a right winger but has done well out right.

Would have Hulme no.10 over Osborne all day long.

Linney needs to start and given decent minutes, before we shatter his confidence. He should be playing both games, considering he is cup tied.

Why the hell are we not starting Linney and Sinclair?  We really are missing width.

Going to knock Linney's confidence. He hasn't even had a bad game.

Lundstram needs to be central with Marriott. Osborne shouldn't be starting, poor decisions being made and then we end up chasing games.

Jones CB and not out right.

Need to work on balls into the box, it is a joke how many we concede.

We have a week until Southend. Should have started our best 11 and that wasn't it. Frustrating.

Same 11, but would have Hugill on the bench.

Hoping he gives Linney the full 90. Need to be getting him up to speed for the entire 90. Surprised he was subbed over Hugill at York, he was getting us forward.

Marriott, Lundstram and Oyedele played well again on Tuesday. I like those three together, albeit Maxi plays no.10 but does drops to win balls back.

Still feel we are a wide player short. At least an option on the bench, maybe that is Goodson.

I thought York was the best newbuild ground I've been to so far

But soulless.

When we do the ground up, we need to keep terraces behind each goal and the far corner on the Pop side.
There are plenty more areas of the ground that can have seating added.
Seating kills the experience and atmosphere, but I understand it is needed for older fans etc.

Hoping for a home draw.

Great atmosphere yesterday, still smiling this morning. Thought whole team battled and we took our chances well. Ollie made one great save down to his right post, prior to them scoring with basically the last kick off the match.

Personally thought bringing Ferguson on, allowed them to come onto us, but we got away with it after we lost our shape. To that point they didn't look like scoring.

Onward and upwards.

Loved yesterday. Well done lads, professional job.

I agree with above, we are not very good at seeing games out when we become too defensive. We struggle with the formation change.

We looked comfortable. By bringing Ferguson and Osborne on for winger and striker put us under pressure.

Spaces on earlier trains available.
Worth checking.
Also, on the Supporters Group there is space on a mini bus from Alty.

Hulme and Osborne have done well running the wings together... so maybe Sinclair up front, we know he's a good finisher?

I doubt Bennett is anywhere near fit enough to feature from the start.

Just an additional thought... have we possibly thought about pairing Harry Perritt up with Isaac Marriot in midfield and using Josh Lundstram as a proper outlet at full back?

This last idea I actually quite like, as I'm unsure giving Perritt another go at full back currently is a good idea - and MWH clearly isn't available.

Osborne and Hulme as wingers scares the crap out of me.

Need legs and pace out there, especially if our fullbacks aren't getting forward.

No limits on loans in the Trophy, as confirmed in Phil's interview with Brian.

Gyasi however is cup-tied.

That's good as Ferguson will make the bench.

Is Kaja injured or dropped?

This is a huge game.
We need to approach United for Hugill and be starting him on Sat.
Guessing we can only have 5 loan players in the match squad?, so does limit the substiutes.
Would like to see Welsh-Hayes back at RB and Oyedele back no. 10.
Still feel we need to find our no.10 and we are very short out wide. Hulme does OK out wide, but lacks pace and the abilty to take on players. Seems the only option out right when Gysai isn't fancied and Kaja is always disappearing.
Byrne needs time out, costing us so many points. Need more confidence this Sat.

                            Gould

Welsh-Hayes J.Jones  Baines  E.Jones

              Marriott   Lundstram

    Hulme ?      Oyedele     Sinclair

                         Hugill

Subs : if we can have Hugill then my 5th loan would be Bennett on the bench. We don't have Hugill, then maybe Gysai for some pace and attacking threat.

Every player needs to be up for this, no passengers. Massive chance to get ro Wembley.

We have been really poor for two and half games now.
For the amount of game time, can someone please tell me what Osborne brings to our team?
He spends most of the game passing it 5 yards sideways, bottles 50/50's and is awful at set pieces.
Missing the three players we lost.
Colclough was strong and direct.
Toby was consistent, strong and a threat going forward.
CCC scored and made things happen.
We've only had one winger in our last three squads - Sinclair.
Badly missing pace, direct and confident players.
Byrne needs dropping, costing us so many points.
Don't think Perritt will be our long term answer. Doesn't get forward. Need fullbacks in the mould of Dens, Senior or Toby.
If we have one winger then we need our fullbacks bobbing on.
Why is Parky taking so long to make subs when we are up against it. Always too late.
Linney should have started tonight, crazy.
I am worried for Saturday. We have gone badly backwards.
