From where I was standing (directly behind him) it didn't look pretty.
For Tom's sake, let's hope it's not as bad as it looked.
-
Best wishes to Tom for a full and speedy recovery.
-
It looked bad, i fear the worst, but hope he can recover.
-
All the best Tom
-
It "sounded" serious on RR as the crowd went silent (followed by wonderful applause from both sets of fans).
I hope it is not as bad as it seems and Mash makes a quick and full recovery.
-
According to the main site, its a broken leg.
Best Wishes Tom for a successful and speedy recovery.

looked awful from where we were stood nothing malicious just really unlucky ...

Really feel for the lad who has been brilliant for us. He has a dislocated ankle which may also be fractured and needs an immediate operation at Wythenshawe.
It would be most unlikely that we see him in an Alty shirt again for many, many months.
Best wishes Masha, we are all thinking of you mate.
-
Cr@p that sounds nasty and likely out for season already. As I said above all the best Tom (and we now need to sign another CB permanently rather than loan)
-
That is sh*t news. All the best Tom.
-
Sorry for Masha, he was superb yesterday before his injury.
Can we dedicate the next home bucket collection for him? Especially as it is a well supported home game V Tranmere.
I am away on holiday in Turkey but will gladly contribute a donation to the club.

Top idea Steve

Yes. We should definitely do this.
-
Fully agree Steve, the lads got hurt in the line of duty, a well publicised bucket collection against Grimsby is the way to go

It's the Tranmere game Pete, (It must be that Dorset fresh air) ;)
Great idea Steve
-
Sorry Ray, correct! Tranmere!
-
Good news from Tols on main site that injury not as bad as feared and he could be back around New Year - lets hope so
-
That's brilliant news for us - good luck Masha
-
All the best Masha, I have heavily criticised him in the past but he earned his spot over last season and this is a big loss to us. Good luck in the recovery.

If we keep picking up injuries at this rate, we are going to need more buckets.

It's like an episode of Casualty in the Alty dressing room.
Hope Stu and Griff aren't bad injuries.
