The reason it's so far away is because we were going to move the pitch towards that stand when we redeveloped the NRE terrace to a similar seated effort. Obviously with our financial probs it was shelved for about 15 years.

Oh right, I didn't know that. Still, it is a smart stand and I have no complaints apart from the bizarre policy of stopping people sitting on the back row - why did they build it if you can't sit in the seats?

I've only been to one friendly so far and know next to nothing about our new players so my answers to your questions will be a load of crap - even more than usual!   

Don't change your away end, it's a good traditional terrace which has a good atmosphere when there are a decent number of away fans.

What you need to do is what we need to do, and that is upgrade some of the facilities - our toilets are terrible and need sorting out and we need to drop the prices of our catering, you need to sort out your pie facilities so you don't have to spend 20 minutes queuing. At least you can still see the game I suppose. Another complaint is your crush barriers, when the away end is busy it can sometimes be hard to find your way down to the front to get out!!!

I hear over 270 season tickets have been sold so far, with a while to go to the start of the season, not bad for a tinpot part time outfit 

Yeah and you conned me into sponsoring a corner of your pitch by pretending to get relegated, which was bang out of order!

FLixton have one of the best/biggest social clubs in Nonleague football, especially in this region

You know what to do then Peter, mention it to the Alty directors and I reckon we can get a coachload of York across to visit Flixton followed by Alty.
