why is it stupid pointless nonsense?? maybe he/she has a view on things and would like to understand what everyone else thinks? lets stop being nasty, if you dont want to reply then dont put anything at all.

i personally think graham is the man for the job, just sumtimes i personally think he lets his passion for the club get in the way of making logical decisions. when he uses his head and picks the right team then great, when passion becomes higher than logic then we have problems.

for all you heathcoate lovers who are about to jump on this thread and tell me i talk crap, then just remember this is a forum and everyone has an opinion if you like it or not.

If someone wishes to raise a question like that there should at least be some rationale behind the question. Of late this forum has been swamped by futile silly topics with no grounds for reasoned debate, opinion or purpose.

maybe people are raising issues about GH becasue of our poor form, its a fans perogotive to use the forum and raise opinions and debates. you dont run this forum and in my eyes the matter of heathcoate being up for the job is sumthing i and obviously the person who started the thread would like to discuss, so like i said b4 if your not intrested in the topic then dont get involved.

My point was that he starts the thread with a question, no opinion, debate or even a clue as to whether he even has an opinion! I have no problems with what you say Jill.

Dear christ i'm getting sick of this bickering and bollocks on this forum, the past few days have been some of the most pointless sh*te i have ever read in the history of all that is the world. so to clarify, like i know many of my fellow experienced posters i will now be avoiding the site till halfterm is over and hope that when i get back we are looking like a sensible forum wher humans talk to humans about the club they love in a sensible and constructive way we get back to the usual talk of next weeks lineup, ideas for raising money/profile for the club, and the less moronic statements like "is heathcote up for the job" a man with more knowledge of non league football in his little finger than some of the managers (jim smith, davenport to name a few) will have during their tenures as conference managers.

I don't enter into the whole Peaking and Goodwining it does not affect me so go right ahead and do your worse coz i am one majorly pissed off poster right now

lots of love

Is heathcote good enough for the job????

I think bringing us from Unibond drivel to Conference survival in the space of 4 years speaks for itself.

God help anyone that has an opinion contrary to that of the Altrincham FC thought police.

Just be thankful that we are out of the FA Trophy and Conference survival is now guaranteed.

Seconded - there's no thought police.  Otherwise this question wouldn't even have got online.  People are perhaps confusing "thought police" with "thinking differently from how you'd lke them to".

Is heathcote good enough for the job????

No offence, but why are you even asking this again. This question has been asked over & over again: GH is a very good manager, has always been a very good manager and always will be a very good manager. How many years has he devoted to Alty?

If anyone knows when it is time to call it a day, it is GH.

Just remember the resources he is working with (with the finest of boards) & count our blessings we do not have an uninterested gold digger.

The answer is yes. He should be given the full support of everyone connected with the club. As for students, they spend years studying some obscure subject nobody has ever heard of then spend the next ten years sitting up a tree campaigning about something nobody else gives a sh*t about. They are a waste of space.

It's got to be remembered that if you cut Graham Heathcote he'd bleed red and white stripes. Not sure any other manager in the Conference would be willing to cover all the roles he does.

My only every criticism would be that he let's himself down with his temprement sometimes, but you can't fault his commitment.

As for tactics I think he does the best he can with the players available to him. No one was complaining after the 5-1 against Aldershot.

LETS GET IT ON AND THE GOOD TIMES WILL ROLL AGAIN. ROCKY RULES. HEATHCOTE WITH THE REMOTE CONTROLS = GOOD TIMES
