Got to be based on Uptown Top Rankine by Althea and Donna?

Beat me to it - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KVBmeWAsRAA

If its of interest, my York City supporting mate's assessment of our new addition is as follows;

""Shabba" should do a job for you, very powerful shot.. Big strong beast of a target man, defenders bounce off him but never scored many goals for us though and no pace..."

A cursory glance at Michael Rankine's career record confirms that he has never been what you would term a prolific goalscorer.

Consequently, I would hope that we are still actively pursuing another striker with the objective of addressing our overreliance on Damian Reeves.

Super signing, a more mobile version of Kyle with bags of experience too. Just what we needed.

Welcome Michael you will love your time at Alty.

Is there such a thing as a less mobile version of Perry......?!

Don't wish to be a downer, but he was lazy when played for us and just there for the money . Good luck

Best player on the pitch at Gateshead a few weeks ago, coupled with a great strike for the goal.

Took the goal well, but the best player on the pitch was the young French winger with a pineapple on his head !

I was in York today and spoke to some York City fans.

They rate Michael highly, always gave full value effort wise and defenders loads of problems, apparently has pace once he gets going and is a decent penalty taker. But not a prolific scorer.
