Great addition for Curzon; they should be a threat this season.

My memory might be iffy (age...senility) but late 90s or early 00s we lost at home to Mossley in the FA Cup with an abysmally insipid performance - the only time I ever left Moss Lane before the final whistle

Your memory is very good, although it might be kinder if it had let you forget this. We lost 0-3 at home to Mossley in the 2nd Round Qualifying in 2000. We signed Danny Murphy  from Mossley as  a result  of this, even before they  played in the next round, if  my own memory is right.

Yes, of course - getting Danny Murphy: not a bad player, but not a very decent left foot - trying to cross from the left with the outside of his left foot v Darlo in the cup!

Think announcements should be made simultaneously (or a near as possible) on all platforms.

Alty station has 4 of them!

So very, very sad. A truly horrible illness.

Here's a sad but lovely story about a senior supporter of his club.

Salute.

On another thread it states he is on his hols, so this is why there might be no official signature.

As I have said on the thread about the Magnificent 7, we are not just replacing quality footballers, but a lot of character.
I am sure Parkie will live up to his reputation for looking at these football intelligent players with character, strength and humour.

Can anyone here see players of such character that might be available?

One thing occurs to me about the Magnificent 7:

We are losing 7 players instrumental in our rise back to National League respectability, but we are also losing 7 great characters and motivators; players who the younger ones could look up to and learn from.

Parkie has got himself a reputation for signing players who can think on their feet and manage themselves, so I am optimistic our replacements will not just be quality footballers, but quality footballing minds.

What about Jackson and Morgan? Are they in contract?

They may well be but we haven't been told for sure yet afaik?

I certainly think Morgan was put on a contract to cover next season, I fear the same is the case for Dinanga
