I'd imagine that the only way he could get into a higher league at the moment would be to join Droylsden and that may not guarantee a first team place every week.

IF he was to move to a league club then he would be a season or two away from breaking into their first team so maybe better off just playing regular football week in and week out at a lower league club.

Please don't reply to threads with "don't no"

If everyone who didn't know posted "don't no" the board would be more clogged up than it already is.

Can anybody see Lewis going to the Bloods? Surely, Morecambe or Accy would be better options for him.

We will have to wait and see if lewis goes, however I thought the last couple of months his performances dropped off although his work rate was there.

and being dropped from the semi pro squad takes him out of the limelight a little. That helps us, if not Lewis himself.

I think he is worth a shot on a full time contract, training 5 days a week might be what Lewis needs to make the final step up. His performances could have dropped because he was knackered towards the end of the season. All depends on if a club are going to take a risk on him and if they have the budget to do so, who are you going to spend the cash on, a player who is up to the standard but heading over the hill or Lewis who could be seen as an unknown. Too much riding on the Conference these days most will play safe I'd say.

Obviously I'd prefer he stayed at Alty.
