I would just like to thank Colin for his efforts, when fully fit he was a good winger, and brought excitement to the fans.
Cheers Pottsy :D :D :D

His part in our playoff winning season was massive. A real shame about his fitness problems but he's a top bloke and will always be very well thought of at Moss Lane.
Good luck for the future Colin!
-
I'd sooner have seen us release Justin Bowler!
Best wishes to Pottsy and thanks for all the entertainment.
-
Sadly, I don't think releasing Mr Bowler was an option.
Cheers Pottsy, top bloke and a very skillful player.
-
Ecky,
Do you supply Belgian Chocolate Yule Logs.....or even Belgian Chocolate Effigies Of Colin Potts?
-
cheers pottsy all the best for the future, great player and one i rekon will always be welcome of a return to moss lane

Sorry to hear the news about Colin but it's been on the cards, I guess.
Colin's been a favourite of mine in his time with us and I wish him all the best for the future.
One of the many good Pottsy memories: two inch-perfect crosses for the goals that won us the match as Aldershot last season.
-
All the best Pottsy,
Sorry to see you go.. You will be missed.

>:( >:(We should have never released him. He was one of our more positive players. If only he was given a chance in the conference. We can't continue scrapping for draws in this defensive fashion. I've a feeling of dejavu....
-
>:( >:(We should have never released him.
The official site says he was released at his own request. I personally think it's best for all, if he plays for Alty he needs to be fully fit, which he's not at the moment.
I'm sure Pottsy will go on to be a great signing for a Nationwide North/Unibond Prem club.
Good luck Pottsy and thanks for all the memories!!
-
I can understand why he left if he's not getting regular games, but he will be missed. All the best Pottsy...
-
Thanks for the memories Pottsy, and good luck for the future !!!
-
One of my favorite players ,Will be missed good luck for the future Colin
-
Don't know why we're all saying goodbye to Pottsy. If the guy can get his fitness back, we'll probably re-sign him - he's only 28! Would love to see him back and fit for Alty. Good luck in the meantime...

just bin reading on the barrow fourm that they have the most knowlegable fan in the whole world honest. he said he thinks he has heard the name colin potts from somewhere when barrow were playing another team but he carnt quite remember. is it me or did we play them a little under 2 years ago? and i'm sure pottsy played in that match (might be mistaken- apologies if i am) but at least he was on the programme. and this fan "thinks" he has heard the name from somewere.
