Vaguely. The mickeys were in a yellow away kit and had a few names in their team (Paul Stewart for some reason springs to mind). I don't think we've ever played Liverpool since in a PSF have we?

I do, Liverpool played a pretty strong team,Julian dicks and Nigel cough amongst others if I remember

I don't know if it was this game but, there was one particular PSF game against a liverpool X1 where I remember Jan Molby taking a free kick at the chequers end and absolutely smashing it at someone in the Alty wall. At the time I thought it was a bit unesccesary for a PSF haha

Ah yes, Liverpool played a string first half team, including David James, banging out a first half 3-0 lead. After making a lot of changes, Alty equilased against a poor Liverpool outfit.

Liverpool scorers - Jan Molby, David Thompson, Lee Jones.
Attendance 637.
Later that same pre-season - Alty 1 (Sharratt) Man United XI 1 (some guy called Beckham - whatever happened to him?)
