From his mouth when he told me this afternoon before the game!

Said his scan revealed he had ligament damage and it takes about 6 months to recover from, however he is seeing someone else this week (i think?) to get another opinion etc.

He seemed pretty gutted.

Dale has a ruptured cruciate (as per Sean Riley) and will be out until about May

It is such a shame for him - not only cos he gives 100% but for his own ambitions. He has the potential to do quite well in the game.
The good thing about him being an Alty player is he will be well looked after & not rushed back.

Good luck to him & hopes for a speedy recovery.
