Oxford ticket arrangements

I've just been on Oxford's website and their game at Tamworth is all ticket tomorrow. The away end which holds around 850 is completely sold out and I would therefore assume Oxford wanted to take plenty more than that figure. In light of that fact is the game at Moss Lane likely to be all ticket as well? I know our away end is larger than Tamworth's but have such arrangements been considered?

I believe we have some flexibility on the line of segregation which can include part of the popular side too so I can't see a problem.

I'm not referring so much to the numbers they'll bring, more whether the club will see fit to make the match all ticket.

It'd have to be all ticket for everyone or not all ticket at all.  The danger if you just make it all ticket to Oxford fans is that you could get Oxford fans coming without a ticket and trying to get in the Alty end.

No need for all ticket.

Get some scaffolding (not gaffer tape) put up half way down the pop side with a sterile area in between.

That would give them at least 2200, no problem.

I personally don't think that they'll travel in anything like those numbers to be brtutally honest.

Also I'd be reluctant personally to take space from the home fans - we don't want it to be like an Oxford Home fixture

Whats wrong with gaffer tape? Its a nice gesture, as proved on boxing day!

No they won't, they'll bring about 800-1000 unless they are flying high again.

Would still be wise to segregate halfway though.

Save our segregation warriors getting injured.

that gaffer tape (on boxing day) got ripped down as sooon as we scored. and then the stewards couldnt put it up again. then it was up to the stewards to keep everybody away from that area. they did very well with this but some people did end up in the sterile area.  :)
