[Community Proj]

The first phase of the Community Sports Hall project, the demolition and removal of the Club Shop, and the lifting and removal of the Flags is almost completed. Our thanks to all of the supporters who contributed time and energy in making this possible, and saving £10,000 from the project cost.
 
The next step will see the commencement of the Changing Room refurbishment on Monday (June 2nd), with completion due on July 21st. The Community Sports Hall construction will start on June 9th, with full completion and availability for use anticipated by Christmas.
 
The fund raising for the project has been progressing well, and we are now just £98,500 short of our target. We have reached the point where we are asking anyone who has pledged money in support of the project to convert this to cash. If you are a UK Tax payer, please sign and return the Gift Aid form (see official site), which will add 25% onto your donation..
 
Its now even easier to support the project via the Just Giving Web page (see link below), but as a reminder of the various ways you can provide that support:
 
Share Purchase - The Share Purchase opportunity is still open thanks to Geoff Goodwin and Grahame Rowley, who have kindly donated further shares in support of the project. Minimum purchase is 5 @ £5 each, but feel free to purchase more!
 
Individual Donations - Every donation is really appreciated.  Whether you are a supporter of the football club, a resident, local business or a sportsperson aware of the shortage of suitable facilities in the area, this is an opportunity to contribute to a lasting facility for the Community and from the Club’s perspective one that will introduce many local people to the Football Club.
 
If you would like to donate there are a number of ways you can do this:
 
1. Donate £1,000 or more to the project and be recognised as a “GIANTKILLER’ on our glass honours board
2. Donate £250 towards the project and be recognised as a ‘CHAMPION’ on our glass honours board.
3. Donate £50 or more and be recognised as a ‘SUPPORTER’ on our glass honours board

All donors to the project, past and future, will receive a free invitation to the Opening event.
 
Business Sponsorship – whereas the Main sponsorship has now been taken up by Sky Wheels, there many other opportunities for a business to help
 
Business Giant Killer for £5,000 or more – sponsors who will have significant internal/ external exposure within the complex and business links with the football club.
The Business Giant Killers Package could also include either:
 
1)    Up to 4 Directors/guests of the sponsoring company can attend a match in the Boardroom, see behind the scenes, meet opposing Directors, and enjoy food and drink in the Boardroom or
2)    Be Match Day sponsors for a game - this is for 10 people, choice of hot meals, complimentary drinks, reserved seats, choose man of the match, receive a commemorative gift, photograph, and recognition in the program and over the tannoy, or
3)    Supply the Mascot for a game and enjoy hospitality for 4 people in the Manchester Glass sponsors lounge, including hot meals, complimentary drinks, and reserved seats for a match.
 
Business Champion for £1,000 or more will have internal exposure and business links with the football club. Package can also include either:
 
1)    Up to 2 Directors to travel with the team in team coach to away game and join Alty Directors team for the day or
2)    Be Match Ball sponsors package for a game - this is for 2 people (although number can be increased), choice of hot meals, complimentary drinks, reserved seats, name in the program, signed ball, photograph
           
Business Supporter for £250, who will have their logo displayed within the Community Sports Hall. Package will also include Hospitality in the Manchester Glass sponsors lounge – choice of hot meals, complimentary drinks, reserved seats
