Just back.
Good performance from a much changed team and a cheering evening! 😉

By the way. Does anyone have any idea where the final is due to be played?
Or does it partially depend on who wins the other semi between Crewe and Congleton?
I suspect it might be Nantwich (but it could be Macc couldn't it?)

where do they play,i presume its not canal street
see Kaja is on the bench
Not canal street, t was the Apec Community stadium, near Murdishaw. Nice set up similar to TRafford FC in some respects.

Nice setup there, good workout and some good finishing. 717 spectators, quite a few from Alty.

I would think Witton would be one of the favourites to host the final

A decent game to watch Runcorn has a very good setup and seemed a very friendly club

Nice to see Egli Kaja when he came on, he was sharp and had a good game when he came on. Personally,My best moment of the evening was seeing Matty Kosylo running about pre match and moving well. Getting him back for next season will be like signing another great player.

One thing I noticed that others might have missed, is that Sonny Aljofree took the number 5 shirt.

Has Kyle Ferguson returned to Harrogate?

Nothing will change Saturday. But it certainly felt better than at 5pm.

A professional performance, 2 quality goals by Jones and Bennet (which silences a few Alty heckles for his previous misses).

Que Sara Sara, Whatever has gone, has gone, we're going to Congelton... 🎵

I do think so. He was in the crowd with a number of the other first team squad.

I also reckon Nantwich. Witton seems to have gone out of favour in comparison now. Playing it at our end of Cheshire would be nice, I’d love it if they played it at the Bower Fold for one but I reckon Nantwich the likeliest. I hear Tue 25 April will be the date.

I think one factor is how well the 'Blazers' are likely to be entertained and Wittons ground is getting a bit ramshackle nowadays (much like our own, sadly).
Nantwich is also more centrally situated whoever we play - but then so is Moss Rose. (they couldn't, could they?) 😏

Nothing to worry about with Kyle Ferguson.

Sonny was simply wearing a blank #5 shirt. Potentially a spare from our Reserves or Academy

My understanding is that players can wear any number in this competition. We could do blank 1-11 if we wanted to, as we don't need to stick to the registered National League squad numbers.
