Not entirely sure about this being a top quality game!

45 mins: Lot of Gateshead pressure; HT 0-0

Never mind the quality! ... keep a clean sheet and a goal from Senior and we'll be fine!

Most Accy fans probably think 'Patio Heater' is a new rising star in Brazilian football.

I think you'll find Paddy O'Heater is an Irish international  ;)

Isnt he a mate of Ashley Coal cole
 ;) :D

Yes. They were both 'grate' players*

*I'll get me coat  ::)

Considering the final run-in we've got against virtually all the top clubs, we could do with 6 points from the next two if we are to consolidate our top half finish (perhaps even sneaking 9th place!)

I'm going with 1-0 to the Supers. (Young from a set piece)

Correct - especially the first part.

Call me a cynic, but as soon as the BSP member clubs have voted not to expel Chester having been lulled by this projected takeover, I can see it falling through. Particularly when the Danish group reach a better understanding of how much money they are likely to have to cough up and once they realise that although the BSP is one step down from Div 2, Div 2 is not one step down from the Premiership (a delusion some of them seem to be labouring under!)

For me, it would be a dream season to finish above Crawley and a.n. other (possibly Mansfield?) and get a single figure finish. 9th would be out of this world!

Totally agree - he was MY man of the match last night.

Mine too. He was absolute Mustard despite the constant jostling and worse he got all evening.

Contrary to some other opinions elsewhere, I also thought Saunders had a decent game considering he was 'stepping in' again and doesn't get a run.
Having said that, how can you drop England's Number One?

Something's changed really. I would consider going to watch a Vics game if it affected Alty, as it is I wouldn't give them a single penny while Jim Rushe is in charge, that clubs conduct over recent years deserves no help whatsoever, similalry I wouldn't go to Macc at all.

It wasn't always like this though, years ago we'd happily go to another club if there wasn't a game on or we were far away. I think when we drew at Fisher in August 91 my old fella and I went to Macc v Barnet. That just seems to have changed somewhat now. Maybe because prices across the board are reducing the off the cuff decisions.

Anyone?

You're getting older, Ballers, and bitterness increases with age!  ;)

I'm 59 so you can imagine my feelings on the subject of Vics and Macc - I've had over 40 years to nurture them!  ::)

2-0 to the Robins. 37% possession on the BBC site and 3 shots on target.
