We also have to remember that last night we were playing a team who are 4 levels below us. That is a serious worry. Wrexham / Notts county would put double digits past our  team last night.

I don't think they would have. We had the majority of the possesion. We had most chances but couldn't score. Against County or Wrexham I agree we would have lost but it would have been a different setup, a different approach and a 3 or 4 nil defeat.

I hope none of this is going to impact Jake's testimonial. He doesn't need to carry the can for what is going on.

Given the gulf in status between the two clubs , this was probably the most embarrassing competitive result in memory , eclipsing the likes of Pwllheli , Winsford , Cammell Lairds , Trafford etc .

Matt Gould dropped the ball because James Jones came flying back in to him. Whether there was a shout or not I have no idea. I wasn't too impressed by the stares Gould received afterwards. Didn't reflect the best of team spirit.
