...are in for a long, hard season if they're getting nailed 5-0 by Curzon and Guiseley.

What season did we lose the first two matches 0-4 ? I think it was against Harrogate & Vauxhall but who was our manager ?

2002/03.

The manager was Bernard Taylor and his assistant was Andy May.

A 4-0 home defeat against newly-promoted Harrogate Town was followed by another 4-0 drubbing at Vauxhall Motors and then a 4-1 reverse at Hucknall Town.

In our fourth fixture, we recorded a 4-0 victory at home to Gateshead.

Bernard Taylor was sacked on 14th October 2002 and duly replaced by Graham Heathcote.
