i know were all down and upset that we didn't win, but look on the brightside, next season is a chance to add more silver to the trophy cabinet, as today when we went on the pitch i asked all thwe players 'do you think we will bounce back' and they all replied 'DEFINITLY'
we may be down, but lets not go slating the team, they gave there all and they are just as upset as us!
SO COME ON ALTY NEXT SEASON!
-
Sounds like most of them will stay then!
Good!!!!
-
Colin Little is a definite for next season
-
i know!
-
thats good that col is a definite, as i assume he will be retiring after next season?
-
Why?
If Grayson can play at 40+ then Col is still a baby!
-
true, lets just hope he hits scoring form next saeson and doesn't retire!
-
Cols great and i'd love to see him back next year, but that looked like a right sitter he missed today. The one where the keeper couldn't pick up the backpass, maybe the keeper just did well cos he was a tw*t all day. Anyway thought the team worked their b*llocks off and were unlucky as usaual. Just an equaliser against Tamworth would have done it. grrr.
Heres to next season, it will be easier to get to some away games for me here in Tameside. If we've got the same players next season should win it easy. Would like to see more of Pat, he looks good when he comes on.

lets hope little can score 30+ again like the last time we were in the conference north

good news i think some will go though too old not good enough , ie talbot , val and a scott. Senior , oneill little & rod could look good in conf north but its a different type of league.
-
i reckon val would do well in conference north again. he maybe getting a bit old but he's still more than capable me feels.

If we can get a decent wide midfielder(s) and lewis stays the middle 2 would be from bushell , lawton and chalmers .val more of a squad player in my opinion, if he stays.
-
senior would be class in conference north
-
we need a soul left back so peyton can go LM. then we can put lewis back in the centre like yesterday.
-
if we keep val, that adds experience to the team
-
yea but i think hes only got a season left in him. n scott is well BADDD

I did hear someone say that Talbs is retiring
-
i think it is time talbs throws in the towel
-
I think a players age is less of a handicap in the lower divison but don't forget Alty are going to have to recast the budget to reflect lower gates maybe less ad income etc and some players may have to go... hope not though ;D
