On what I've seen so far, both sides like to play proper football, so we should be suited by either.

We are only two more delegations away from this standard. Thin crowd, can't hear the PA. Persistent drizzle. I must have had a sanity bypass.

Indeed, the team play his way....and I was already worried about the lack of physicality/plan B.

Whilst we haven't set the world on fire so far (setting light to a waste bin has looked beyond us at times), a win tomorrow could put us straight up to mid table. We are only six points adrift, and the top 11 clubs are separated by only two points.

Whitby had a decent win over Stalybridge (but then a few will do that - Steve Burr is the new Jim Harvey imho), but have lost their other two. We CAN win this, and if we follow up by beating bottom club Coalville on Saturday we'll be up and running. It's essential to boost the players' confidence.

Of course, this is Alty and we're traditionally Calpol for such strugglers, but the players and management know we fans won't accept what has been served up so far.

Let's get behind them to the highest possible level.....if we fail this week, we're definitely in trouble.

I assume it's tomorrow ? There are plenty of banana skins in our section - an away trip to Hyde or Moseley in our present state wouldn't encourage me one iota. And I genuinely fear Leek Town.
