Yes - a teams cares more about the FA Cup and puts more resources into it than we do, and this reaps the rewards.

We are only jealous. I bet we wouldn't be sat here debating this if it had been us.

Just looked at the vid of the 3rd goal: I don't think the 'dale keeper ever had full control/hold of the ball.

Just seen it again on Granada Reports. He had both hands on the ball and was shielding it with his body. Stupid comment from someone earlier to say we would have accepted it. It was desparate cheating on a par with Thierry Henry's handball.

How foolish of me. Of course I meant to say that we would have surrounded the referee and asked him to chalk it off, and send our player off. We as fans would have unanimously applauded this outbreak of sanity in an otherwise crazy world.

Whether we would have accepted it is neither here nor there.

Would you accept being let off a murder charge when you were actually guilty? Of course you would.

It doesn't mean that the decision wasn't wrong and that you didn't act wrongly by murdering someone.

I think you'll find the FA Cup has been very good to this club over the years. If there's been little luck for us in it recently there's been more than enough in the past to compensate.

As for FCUM, they have a support base and media influence that we, and any other club in the area, can only dream of.  Hughesy is right when he says the sooner they are in the league the better. Let's focus on us.
