Sydney Alty travels halfway around the world, looking forward to 4 games (Ebbsfleet, York and Wrexham x2) and the sodding weather ruins everything.

Back to Sydney tomorrow, so that's it for me for another year or two.

Bugger.

That is pretty heartbreaking!

Oh well... look on the bright side, at least you get to leave behind the cold and go back to the Aussie summer!

I use to have the same problem when I lived in South Africa and visted my parents in UK around Christmas time.
I went back before we played Spurs in the 90's as I couldnt risk taking another week off work and gamling on the UK weather.
I once arranged a businness trip to Ireland around our FA Cup tie wiith Crewe in 1995 then the match was cancelled due to international fixtures for 2 Crewe players.

I remember the Irish FAs once postponed Ireland v N Ireland as all the players were on international duty!

The next time they played they could not decide who would change strips as they clashed so the North wore green & white stripes and the Republic white & green stripes!

Thanks for the good wishes, everyone. I may be going to the good weather in Sydney, but I'd love an afternoon stood behind the goal at the Gold Road end!
