I thought I'd start a thread of what items our shop should have.
The reverse scarves sold very well becayse they were different to our usual offering
-
Beach towels made a fortune for wrexham, imagine it reserving your deckchair this summer with an alty fc beach towel
-
Yes I'd get a beech towel
-
I always liked talk of an Alty brew for the CSH - much like Leamington have the Brake Fluid. Not sure it would actually help us sell more beer on matchdays but if we got it brewed locally (Dunham?) and cut out the middle man, it may reduce cost (although no idea really).

Travel mugs.

"Robins Ruin"?
-
Beach towels. That's a top shout
-
Miniature scarf for car window
-
a selection of ales from around the conference , which jim, hughesy and jamie n have quaffed over the years.
-
Stationery set a la Mansfield.
-
Jigsaws.
-
Dog toys.
-
Seriously though do we actually sell a pint glass? That would be good if it was decent quality.
-
Travel mugs.
we got plenty of those, particularly last night. Please dont sell them!

I've got a commemorative beer festival one at home which is pretty decent quality.

Pint glasses are produced for the Beer festival
-
Beach towels would be cool, if you could get numbers on them that would be even better - a great tweet with a picture of the Alty squad around the pool and a pile of German towels in the corner.

Graham Rowley was dealing with this last season, but it seems to have been forgotten about.

Maybe have one just for away fans called Ex-League Team Bitter.

;D
-
Phone cases
-
Lanyards, lighters, tea towels
-
All these sound great.
May I suggest thought that some thought goes in to the actual design of such items. Think some of our merchandise has looked a bit... well... naff.
-
Jigsaws.
Aerial shot of the ground.
The photo of the players celebrating Wilkinsons goal.
Squad photo?
Farrelly's goal at Wembley.
Kenny's goal v Kettering.
Rod's Carthwheeling celebration
The ones from the photos behind the bar.
Dunno, any others, very good sellers at Christmas.
-
I'd buy some car stickers if they were like the logo with the Altrincham FC they have on the home shirts. The current scarf like stickers look a bit naff IMHO.
-
Alty FC trapper hats
A return of the wallets!
-
As kit/merchandise supplier, I'm up for any sensible ideas. Towels could be easily arranged, see me at a home game to discus any ideas.
-
I bought my brother one of these for Christmas:

How easy would it be to get an Alty version of the same thing made?
-
What about beer can holders? I got bought one of these by a family member who went to Australia on holiday and they are quite good and probably very cheap to have made. There is an example available via the following link:

Talking of beach towels, when Wrexham did it they had a competition as to who could get a photo of themselves with the towel in the most exotic location. It certainly enhanced the sales, definitely one to think about.
