It's not something that I or the majority of fans would do it, but what is there to stop a fan from bringing someone who would normally come as their free guest?

It's a good idea but requires a large amount of honesty from fans. It could potentially backfire massively amongst less moral fans.

I meant the idea of putting club promotions on youtube

It's something we could consider for a bigger promotion

make it 2 for £20.  still some of the weaknesses but also a discount on the normal prices.

also - what about a modern version of the classic "dads 'n lads"?  parent plus one child for say £15.00, parent plus 2 for £17.00 - that sort of thing.

I like that dad/lad idea (not that my dad would go :P)

There are discounts available. They're called season tickets.

If you don't think you'll come to every game there is the option of paying another price known as normal admisson price.

Ends.

Both of my sons got hooked on Alty as a result of free tickets being sent round the schools, provided you took a paying adult with you...

lats time i checked i couldn't afford a season ticket. Add on two for my boys means we can't go - simple as that.  hands up if you're stuggling for cash.

Hard to argue with that.  Not everyone can stump up the cash up front for a season ticket, and we need to try new things to attract new fans.

Some ideas...

A dirt cheap kids season ticket, promote it through the youth groups and schools in early July - before they break up for summer and before the first friendly.
A free kids season ticket if you buy an Adult one.
Discount on merchandise if you buy a season ticket
A mini season ticket for 6 or 12 games

Any thoughts?

Kids season tickets already are "dirt cheap", 50 quid for 20 games of decent level of football plus a great atmosphere and pre season friendlies is definitely worth it for me.

But if you've got 2 kids,£100 up front is a lot to pay out and would put many off.
A "Junior Alty" club with monthly direct debit payments may be a better option for many parents
