I suppose there are better chances of big crowds over easter, for those it is a local derby it will be good overall. I just hope there is an element of locality to the christmas games now.
The more subs thing is just common sense. Less danger of a late injury reducing a team to 10 men and also avoids rotating starting lineups when you know you can throw on a decent number of replacements.
Overall I don't think either of these changes are quite on the replays debacle levels of fan & club sh*thousery.

I find the fixture changes underwhelming. Is it just me? The five subs from seven instead of five mildly interesting. If it would have been seven from seven that would have favoured the bigger clubs with bigger squads. I was hoping the news was two automatic promotion plus one from the playoffs. Drat.

More subs allowed next season and playing the same team in reverse fixtures on Boxing Day and NYD is being scrapped.

On another note, that other Sinclair from the 90's Prem era has a son at Curzon Ashton - Isaac - who is only 22 and seems to hold some promise.Trevor I'm assuming. Can he do this too? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MomkYgXPudw |

If we're looking for experience in the middle of the park - and if wage bills on Google are to be believed - then Luke Young is set to be released by Wrexham I think.
Within the realms of affordable (if accurate), 30 years old. He'd be one hell of a signing. |

I rate Newby out wide but has not impressed as no.10 when he has gone into that role this season. The one thing I'll say about when Alex has shifted into 10 is (correct me if I'm wrong) CCC has still tended to be on the pitch? Thus they ended up taking sinilar positions like when we had CCC and Aaron Bennett in the lineup at the same time, with neither particularly shining. I do like Alex's use of the ball and his decision making is pretty decent compared to the rest of our forwards - he's also shown steady improvement through coaching with Parky and Sorvs. Wouldn't be surprised to see it happen to be honest - I think 10 is his 'go to' number based on his socials so I'm sure he'd take the number at the very least! |

I think the time for Matty Warburton has been and gone - and I just don't see Nick Haughton as an 'Alty' signing when he'd probably prefer to go and pick up more money somewhere like Oldham.

Its quite a specialised position number 10 .Didnt Kossy play there before ccc came in on loan ?If or more reluctantly when ccc goes the only number 10s I can think of are Nick Haughton who might be efl bound or Matty Warburton who is at Solihull but didnt play at Barnet I believe Matty Warburton is returning to teaching sooner rather than later |

Well spotted. In my defence, it was a late night post after a long journey, although not as long as Neil Tolson's would have been from Wisconsin, nor people who had used the coaches which went the scenic route from Bromley. |
