Title: NEXT SEASON'S DERBY MATCHES
Post by: taxi Phil on February 27, 2010, 07:48:49 PM
Vics amazing 0-3 win at Fleetwood actually leads me to believe they could yet make the playoffs despite their penalty. I hope Southport utilise their games in hand to take the title, and if Vics don't make it we can still hope for Stalybridge or Droylsden.

while it would be nice to have the vics xmas 6 points I do not believe they deserve any success...yet again proof that 10 points deduction is a minor inconvenience rather than punishment for those who carry on and don't pay their bills..

I'd take Southport and Droylsden myself quite happily.

The Conference would do everything in its power to stop such a shambles of a club getting on the playoffs.

I agree with ecky and hope the conference have gained something from the Chester fiasco, we all know the Vics will have the rubber cheque book out again the poor deluded souls  :-\

Don't Vics have to pay their debts by 31 March or face relegation, irrespective of where they finish ?

It's all made-up as they go along. If they produce some proof that at some stage they might possibly pay back around half of what they owe to some creditors they'll probably be let off.

You can't deny Northwich are good with percentages.....what's 40% of £150,000 Graham?

although they could do better with the very simple sum average gates x admittance fee = full time

That will be another150 off your average then, as a few more are too disgusted to carry on.

You'll be on Kidsgrove attendance figures before you know it and still robbing the local community blind.

Somebody put that wounded dog out of its misery

Bless him. Mat is one of our more eager fans....and he has got the wrong end of the stick. JR's plan, whether you believe it to be foolish or not is to re-name Woodley FC as Northwich Villa. Thought you lot deserved to know what was going on as you take such an interest in the fortunes of NVFC....

they lost to Vauxhall Motors tonight 1-0 and if Farsley get the arse they will be impacted as well so that might be the end of the Vics derby next year... :P

So if they want Woodley Sports to be renamed Northwich Villa to stop it being considered a reserve team for Vics  (although it will be in all but name) could we have Vics getting passed by Villa in the next couple of seasons ? especially if Vics get booted from the conference this year ? Surely there would be a massive conflict of interest ...can Rushe be chairman of both clubs ? ..what happens if they meet in any of the cup comps ?

Northwich Fantasy Marina would be a better name anyway

Don't get Woodley Sports mixed up with Woodley FC. I think Mr White Knight Crackpot was involved (or even still owns) Woodley who play in the Cheshire League

I seem to think A**y fans don't have a great reputation when it comes to linesmen....all clubs have their hot heads. Weren't two of your lot escorted out the ground last time we played you ?

What, you're saying no one clambered all over the metal tunnel at Vauxhall and spat at the referee?

Or are you saying that it wasn't you?

We've all had a drink at a game sometimes and got a bit giddy...don't let it pray on your mind.

No they can't.

They're not interested in anything other than spending money they don't have, dreaming up crazy marina schemes, going full time on next to no income and scratching their heads when it all goes tits up AGAIN.

No, NVFC have nothing whatsoever to learn from Alty.  Nothing to learn from Mr. Goodwin, nothing to learn from Mr. Heathcote, nothing to learn from Mr. Barrow and nothing to learn from Mr. McKenna.

Almost finished my rant, but not quite.  Not only are NVFC scum green slime but the town is a p1ss hole of the highest order.

Now my rant is over.
