Ryan Crowther.   Excited because I usually read it here before the main website.

FM14 says he's a left mid and competent on the right and it's usually quite accurate  ;D

Maybe the plan is to stick him on the right and have Lawrie up front with Reeves?

Welcome Ryan. Fits the bill nicely as a part time player with Conference premier experience and above.

With no disrespect to Lawrie who has done a sterling job towards the season end, it's been a while since we have had two players whipping in crosses.

Pleased with that.

Now for a striker.

Welcome to Alty, Ryan! Sounds like just the kind of player we're looking for.  :)

Decent player and good scoring record for a winger 1 in 4and half matches only slight concern surprised he hasn't played more matches at his age but should do well

Good signing, gives us more attacking options and width. I hope is is still as good as he was when at Hyde 2 years ago.

Was this the guy who scored like 20 goals for Hyde in like 10 games, then moved on and Hyde dive bombed?

Ryan was a real handful when we lost 2 1 at their place the year Hyde went up. I thought he was Football League quality at the time, but not heard a great deal about him recently - maybe he just lost his way. Welcome to Alty Ryan.

Odd Twitter silence since August: https://twitter.com/RyanCrowther

Looks to have gradually built his career back up after this in 2010, which is more than can be said for some others: http://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/news/local-news/shamed-football-starlets-slide-from-premier-899020

And comments from his dad at the time suggest he's been true to his word about picking himself back up: http://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/news/local-news/footballers-career-in-doubt-after-jail-899859
