When we have counted the money...can we correct the attendance?

Today was a great crowd of 1600....there has been an error  in the turnstiles at the away end if it says 348.

One of the biggest away followings at Moss Lane for years..

Using the Tamworth FC system for counting away supporters *, I would say York only brought 150

Irrespective of how many there were, York's support was fantastic as usual.

The quoted figure of 1200 surprised me a bit. The Carole Nash & Family Arley Home & Away End was pretty full of Yorkies, whilst the Golf Road end was fuller for the second half than i've seen it for a while (apart from Boxing Day of course). Crowd was definitely boosted by the fact that other games were off today.

They had loads of fans in the main stand and I reckon 500 in the away end at least. Just imagine when Alty have an average of 500 away every week and 2000 every home game.... It is possible ! BAFTA (Bring A Fan To Alty)

Iwas on one of the adult away turnstiles by my reckoning i had 207 through my turnstile and the £7 turnstile had 126.

Cliff,

I don't doubt what you saw on the readings or that Phil Taylor can add up. I reckon that something may have gone wrong with a turntsile or something.

I know that there was more than 348 on that away end.

That end is supposed to hold 1400, their fans were packed in behind the goal.

It was bigger tham Morecambes 500 a few seasons back and bigger then v*cs this season as well.

Dare I mention the possibility it was deliberately under-reported?

Why would that happen?

Unfortunately, for my money, I thought there were very few home fans in attendance yesterday. The first half especially it looked quite sparse.

1200, could have been right. I think there was 400-450 York fans though. Bear in mind the weirdoes sectioned off a large part of it themselves and though the terrace was fullish they weren't packed tightly together.
