Thought that would be his level. Clearly not.

That's quite a range of clubs. Prem Ipswich to Mansfield in League 1.
One more season with us please. One more season. |

Ipswich 'are keen'. Peterborough, Portsmouth and Mansfield are 'monitoring his Progress' If we must endure this (and clearly we will), then let the auction begin. The deeper the pockets the better as he certainly aint going anywhere cheap! |

Given that James Jones might not be offered a deal - or might opt to leave of his own accord - it would be interesting to see who would be in line for the club captaincy.
Does it pass to Isaac by default, or does Lewis step ahead of him given the great job he's done recently... |

Not going to town with Neil Young's tenure at Alty.....but didn't his record that woeful season turn out to be better than Jim Harvey's and the caretaker roles ? I think he needed to step away to find his mojo again - he'd been dreadful at Stockport prior to joining us and his turnover of players should have been cause for alarm given that he adopted the same tactic with us and filled the squad with absolute dross. He undoubtedly set us into the tailspin that season from which I doubt any manager could have recovered us from. |

I don't think Dan showed enough when he came back but he could justifiably argue that he didn't see enough of the ball to show much. Somewhere like Fylde would probably be a good move for him, I'm sure he'll get sorted with a club soon. |

Grimsby are making noises about Linney Stands to reason that the side who finished 21st in Division 4 might be interested in some of our lads. But as said he’s under contract & Grimsby is absolutely miles from anywhere, so not necessarily the most difficult to resist (if true). On the wider list there’s no real surprises or big arguments. We have to act like a play off side & bring in better. Below our first choice XI last season there was a big drop off (see who Bromley bought on & how they impacted the game in the PO Semis) so we need to free up room & bring in the quality. This is a good start to that process. |

Grimsby are making noises about Linney I wouldn't have thought they'd be able to afford him would they? (given he's under contract) |
