What's happened about the Eastbourne game? I thought they were in front of the League yesterday?

The conference have, in their undying wisdom, decided that the game has to be replayed. see

The decision seems a bit soft on Chester, although the conference refer to ongoing enquiries with the FA. Maybe they will be further punished for failing to control their fans. At least eastbourne have a chance to further put pressure on vaughan

Should have just given Eastbourne the points IMHO. Actually, no. Chester should not be allowed to play in this league. But given that the Conference seem intent on keeping them in, the least worst solution would be to award the team whose fans didn't disrupt the game three points.

Eastbourne will make a loss out of this game (with travel etc) and also risk injury to playsers they can ill afford when in the relegation area.

Will Chester City recompense any losses/costs?
