It amazes me that Cheshire police have to re-arrange or abandon matches when about 20 good natured fans protest at The Deva, yet in London games go ahead when tens of thousands of nutters are trying to kill each other.
Strange times indeed!!

Cheshire Police seem to cope with 20,000 pissed racegoers during the summer but they can't seem to be able to cope with 20 young chavs.

In my experience your average race-goer tends to be drunk & boisterous but causes relatively little trouble.

Saturday night in Chester in June/July/August after a race meeting is fight night and is also slapper night.

Ive not heard slapper for ages. Great word, not as bad as slag, but will still probably do most things after a few blue WKD's.

An old favourite of mine from Viz:

You tend to find the slappers go to Rosie's or Brannigans in Chester.

Does this mean they might not play their next match?

What's happened about the Eastbourne game? I thought they were in front of the League yesterday?
