Good performance, should have won by more, Redshaw in particular seemed to want to walk the ball into the net and we could have gone in at the break 3 up.  Contained Workington to a few half chances and Coburn pulled off one wonder save to keep us at 2-1!  We had about umpteen corners and stanout performances from Walmsley, Tomsett (work rate) Lynch and Lawrie.

Lets get a winning run going and get right into the playoff places where we should be!

Did Walmsley whip in any more cracking free kicks like he did at Hinckley?

Think he whipped a nice one in the first half, he was up and down the right flank to good effect all game though.

dont know what game they were watching, clee was by far and away Motm yesterday. Redshaw as much as i want him to stay almost cost us the game with selfish play when a simple pass would have given others tap ins.

Can't blame him for talking to the clubs who have shown interest. You could argue that it would be arrogant of him not to talk to them.

On a serious note, we could have had 4 or 5 if Redshaw showed more composure in front of goal yesterday.

He is a good player, but i question his decision making in the 18 yard box and wonder if talk of pastures new has gone to his head. I know it's always hard for people released from big clubs who drop down to non-league, but he needs to keep his feet on the ground and work hard, otherwise he may end up going the same way as Carlos Logan and Sam Hewson.

Shhhhh.
He can get his feet on the ground and be a bit more consistent after Hyde and Halifax have gone away. For now, a few misses in a game we win anyway is more likely to keep him at Alty!

With all due respect to Carlos and Sam, Jack is "different class" in my view. He eats, sleeps and drinks football, and just wants to play at the highest level he can. If that ends up being us, then we are the winner. His attitude in his short spell has been excellent, both in training and matches, and all the squad and management think the world of him. We will have to see what the next week brings regarding his future. Staying with us would certainly help our chances of making the play-offs.
