team for next year

I'm not of the opinion we should go for wholesale changes in the summer.

Given the chance, i'd keep the majority of players and fill the rest with youth teamer's and one or two experienced heads.

I imagine Reeves, Densmore and Smith will be snapped up for conference; Johnson will go to Hyde; Twiss and Joseph might call it a day?

i'd go 4-2-3-1

- - Clee - - Connors - -  Denham -

- - - - - Lawton - -  Danylk - - - - -

- LB - - Williams - - - CB - - RB -

- - - - - - - - Coburn - - - - - - - - - -

Obviously it depends upon wage budgets, but keeping a core from this year to build the team around might not be a bad idea

I wonder if it is possible to negotiate a minimum wage and base bonus pay outs depending on team performance and attendance. People work harder when they are on commission, football is no different.

We need someone in the team who can get there head up and pass, Lawton and Danylyk in the middle, we're gonna struggle to keep the ball on the deck. #wherethef**kisTomKearney

As much as I love Densmore, he should be playing league football.

As much as I love Johnson;  assuming we offer him the same wages as Hyde, he will be at Hyde next season.

Good should with Carden.... it might also be worth having another look at Peter Doran - I know some people don't like to tread over old ground, but i've heard his favourite position is right back and we were playing him out of position in Centre Mid.

Kylie had it right.... better the devil you know.

Densmore is studying a construction degree, he would be mad to not finish it now,he is a sensible lad and think he will do that,he only needs to look at greg young to see that its worth finishing your studies first. he is only young, and has time on his side, plus we will get a fee for him if he does go,he is under 24

Why would Johnson want to go back to Hyde when they are struggling?? I am confused on this one, I think if he doesn't stay a team in the BSP will have a punt on him

We got relegated as the players we have collectively were not good enough as a team.

We have one or two individuals who would still do a job at premier level.

                           Coburn

Densmore  Williams    Joseph     Brown

Denham     Danylyk     Lawton   Clee

          Reeves       Johnson

The rest of the squad to be made up of new players. This team I believe can do an awesome job for us. The question is will they all stay and can we afford them all. My doubts are over Reeves, Clee and Joseph.

Joseph is 34 doubt he would get an offer from another bsp club I have nothing against brown but wouldn't even fancy him even  in a bsn side

The trouble with Williams is that he is very poor at distributing the ball... The level of football is irrelevant he is just a bad distributor of the round thing.  Plus he certainly needs to be more agrressive.....

I would like to see quite a few changes in the playing staff for next season, I dont want to be posting on here in a year's time that the same old lot have not performed again. I would keep Coburn (with a decent replacement keeper as I feel Stu takes a while to recover from injury these days) Densmore, Lawton, Denham, Clee, Danylyk, Connors (if poss) and Reeves

Beesley has had one decent game (the last one)  1 swallow does not make a summer
