Altrincham FC the same as Oxford?

Just been having a read through the BBC 606 thing and saw this quote...

"Truly awful - is Wilder Darren Patterson in disguise?

Not collapsed like this for at least a season.

Too many mediocre loan players in at Christmas, none of whom have made an impact. Meanwhile, players we have let go are flourishing - Basham did the damage when we played Hayes & Yeading, Odubade is the top scorer at the league leaders, Duffy is putting them away for Mansfield.

We're a big club, sorry - were, but now no bigger than the likes of Kettering, Crawley and Altrincham - non-league also rans.

Everyone knows the team that finishes 2nd never make through the play offs, they are all about form, which of course means we have no chance.

Depressing stuff.

Jim Magilton anyone?"

Duffy's not putting them at Mansfield.

As if a strike force of Duffy, Odubade and Basham would win you the league.

Tomlin and Gknaoka (and Brodie actually) are at least decent players though.

brodie is a long way from the player he thinks he is.  he put a couple away at Grays - the first he's scored since Jan.  Sorry, not good enough if you really are a top BSP striker.

If Brodie were as good as HE thinks he is, he'd be somewhere like City by now, and be keeping Wee Carlos on the bench.

while he's actually at York City, having a wee by the bench.

Gash is another one who flatters himself.

When I left the Kassam Stadiium earlier this season my parting comment to the friendly stewards was "see yu next season". Their response was "No we're going up". I remember a simular opinion the first season we met them when they tought that they had won the title long before Christmas. So their fans have now resigned themselves to playing us again next season but still dont consider themseves as 'Non League also rans' having been in this division for 4 seasons already?
