This title gives the impression that he was a star in an Altrincham team, which couldn't be further from the truth.
Sadly in the end he was big let down to us as a player, as we were all expected Danny to play for us while still of standard above the rest in the BSN and BSP.
As an Alty fan I still wish him all the best for his future career and know he is a decent enough bloke that he wont forget the club he supports/supported as a boy.
