As soon as relegation is confirmed, too many dont give a sh*t and you can tell as much by their none appearence in the bar after home games.Too many just picking up the very good part time wage.Id sooner have 15 eager young lads full time on £200 a week with a mix of seasoned partimers than the hungerless bastards on show tonight. The lack of hunger and ideas from too many tonight was disgrace against the poorest barrow side ive seen in many a year,we didnt create a clear cut chance indefencible.

Spot on Hughesy. But our management team must also take some blame for completely clueless tactics.

It's the lack of fight against a very poor side that is so depressing.

Ken seemed to think they were technically better than our players and that we were on an uphill battle from the start. I still can't believe he actually came out with that statement at half time....maybe I was hallucinating?

Aren't six of the eleven starters Ken's acquisitions? This side has his stamp on it so he must also shoulder some of the blame. As for players going straight after the game I'm sure they have wives and families at home and perhaps they have to travel distances. Where was Hewson tonight, was he injured or told not to bother? How many times have other players had to make up numbers on the bench when deemed not "fit"?

Radical shake up needed and when will Baynes who takes most of free kicks actually live up to the billing of being a Dead Ball specialist? On percentage terms success over number of Baynes attempts must be low. Right back to bed now!

Not sure the tactics were clueless.  The team picked itself...there was no other way to play in my opinion.

Despite how terrible it was, things were going to plan at half time.

It was two poor sides playing badly in an awful wind that made it a lottery.  It was going to take a goal like that to win it and that was such a bad time to concede it.

Announcing that we are down with 11 games to go and three points off it is not helpful.  If we play that again more than once then we certainly are.  However we still have a chance, we're not 15 points adrift.

We need Denham and Densmore back as soon as possible to give us options.

We need to released Hewson today and use his wage to get a nippy young raw striker from Tranmere, who will gamlble and may get us two or three goals that might allow us to win a couple 1-0.

If you have woken up pissed off this morning, spare a thought for those that watched it in the rain last night. Due to Barrows refusal to segregate the game we had to endure what you watched stood next to two different groups of complete basic comedians who told us to f**k off and other things even funnier than that all game.  I never seen a more backward place in my llife.

The key now is is if Kenny and Bimmo can pick them up again like they have after other defeats.

You've got all summer to moan about how sh*t everything is/was/always will be...for now we need to stay together until the table tells us all is lost.

I agree with mark we need toi take a risk on a striker from a higher level untill the end od the season and give us some hope of scoring if such a player is available lets shell out a bit of short term cash and ensure in our last 11 games we dont go out without even a whimper

Sorry, I really can't be optimistic this morning.
Did we think we were playing Barcelona, if I wanted to watch 11 men staying in their own half and periodically hoofing the ball back to the oppositions goalkeeper I would go to my local park.
If this is what it takes to play in this league, I would genuinely be happier in the BSN where we might see a decent game occasionally.

Went to Barrow at the beginning of last season for a wonderful away win. Great spectacle, passion and commitment. The same fixture yesterday was in complete contrast and one of apathy with no ideas whatsoever. I am still an optimist but when the TV cameras panned to Ken he too was leaning on the hoardings looking bored and pissed off. Lets get them motivated for the fight of their lives and not rely on the AGM cup for once.

I'm sure Kennys demeanour was simply one of frustration at the players not doing a thing that they were told to do.  He might not get everything right, he might not always pick what we think is the best eleven but you can never accuse him of not having fight.  I can't think of anything worse than being a manager who can't decide on what team to play, the team simply just picks itself.

ChesterAlty...I'm not optimistic either this morning, I just feel that until all is lost we shouldn't give up.

I'll probably feel different by Saturday, it's just part of being a football fan, especially a fan of a struggling team!!

The defence is ok,we have some tough choices to make though. We either go out and find a football league striker thats out of contract in the summer and wants a dozen games to put themselves in the shop window, and the same with a cultured midfielder,or we go with what weve got and produce performances like last night, and ultimately pay the price.Whateve the outcome we need a root and branch rethink about player recruitment in the summer.

The defence WOULD be OK if Youngy is fit after turning his ankle last night, if Smith is fit and doesn't get a big ban, if Bateson keeps his head and doesn't dive in again like he did last night.

BUT.....there's a lot of ifs there. We could end up on Saturday with a back line of Bateson, Williams, Joseph, Piergianni. It only leaves Ryan Brown for cover if one of them gets a knock.

Robbie Williams's confidence seems a bit low at the moment, and being subbed in consecutive games won't help that. I never thought early season that we'd come to depend so much on Marc Joseph, but thank goodness he's been there of late. One of the few who could hold his head up last night in my opinion.

We seriously do need to rethink for next season - our continuing dependence on loan players doesn't help team spirit, and if we could get a settled team out for weeks at a time it would be a tremendous tonic. How many players have we used this term ? Is it 37 ?

Considering the huge amount of footballers we have on our doorstep we could do worse than to link up with 1 of the 4?? Uni's also on our doorstep and offer young players deemed not good enough by the top local clubs a chance to still play full time football at a decent level whilst studying at the same time.be it basic skills or a degree, training every day awell as studying for the future, they wouldnt be pulling huge wages but their must be 20 young lads sensible enough to find this option appealing
