Has had his contract terminated for being injured.

Surely you can't do that...?!?!

I wonder what it is? Maybe one of those slow, degenerative injuries. If he got through the medical it might be one of those where he's okay to play a game, but needs extra time to recover or is doing constant long-term damage?

Its a shame, but im more than happy with the "dogs of war" style midfielders we already have.If we were to have another midfielder come in,we would need one that can put his foot on the ball and pick a pass.

When he played for us he did seem to be quite stiff at the end of games, but just put it down to effort, seems as though he had a problem. Wonder if fleetwood knew owt or if they would divulge info like that.

Must say though, if he was available a month ago how many of us would have been keen on him, so the reactions below show how things have changed eh!  8)

He's probably pretty gutted right now. Any chance of playing at a decent level out of the window. I'm sure he didn't disclose it because he thought he'd get through it.

Thankfully he hadn't signed for us cos it could have cost us dear.

For me he was one of the bright spots of last season, everything I want a footballer to be.

However I am sure he missed a few games injured for us as well.

I wish him well...he gave 100% for us.

I could have sworn somebody told me he had a double hernia at the end of last season which was the reason he missed our last few games after his suspension.

I'm sure he'll get himself fixed up with a club once his injury troubles are behind him.

I would have genuinely had doubts, I said to Hughesy if we have a slim line budget then vfm is an absolute must. Cracking player though he is he'd miss about 20 games a season through suspension. If he's gonna miss a dozen more through injury...
