The failure of Clayton Donaldson should be a sobering lesson to any player who has a greedy agent whispering in his ear.

I can't say I'm sorry to be honest.

Absolutely.

Momentum of a promising career stalled, lots of money for an agent, some money for Donaldson but now he won't earn as much in the rest of his career, none for York and a player on the way down.

Presumably Andy Bishop is happy playing in at least a division below his ability as well.

I always liked him, is he still at Bury ? Donaldson has totally screwed himself up, whoopy do in the short term he might have had a ncie wedge but what happens when he could be without a club or on a lower wage than York in the long term, typical example of agents and their OWN interests. Blackpool have a policy of not paying for any agents fees, and have done so for a long time, interesting to see teams in League 2 spending upwards of £200k on agents fees ALONE !! Crazy...

Come off it, he's going to Crewe not Curzon!

It's not much of a step down from most of the SPL in my opinion
