Anyone else hear Witton's chairman on BBC Manchester last night?

Mike Pavosovich wshed him well and said who kinows? you could be playing at ewen fields next xmas against hyde in the BS North.

The cheeky bugger replied "Well, we could be playing Altrincham Boxing Day and New Years..imagine that!"

He can take his own promotion for granted but never never NEVER for one minute that we wont fight relegation with all our might...he said it as if we were favourites for the drop! I'd have thought Northwich was a bigger game for Witton anyway..why not mention them?

Win today lads to make sure this cheeky guy's dream does not come true.

Nice to know we are still everyone's cup tie though.

Witton on boxing day....what an absolute nightmare.

I'm just wondering if Vics and Halifax drop and we survive (big if)...and kettering and say telford come up...

Our nearest and most likely xmas fixture could be Wrexham.

Or maybe Stalybridge...if they come up instead of telford?

Both more appetising than Witton.
