Gateshead lost at Fylde today. Without doubt winnable but we are conceding far too many goals

I notice some bloke called Jordan Hulme scored for Fylde.

Will Pringle be eligible for the FA cup?

According to the match report on their official site, the scorer of their second goal was actually our old friend Joe Piggott:

I am proud that the lads acquitted themselves so well again given the difficulties that they have faced over the last few games. If we had got the rub of the green we might well of won the last two games.  Shame that Pringle got himself sent off.  We will beat Gateshead next Saturday and come the end of the season I still believe that we will occupy one of the playoff positions.

C'mon Alty.

Think you're the other half of my half empty glass Condate! 😂😂
Loving your opinions though mate! 👍

Imho the lack of forwards fit means that the defence is under a lot more pressure. When we get our dangerous players back we'll be fine.

Lots of games and travelling with a very thin squad caught up with us today. The two loanees lack of match fitness was showing with half an hour to go given two games in 5 days. So senior ended up on the left wing!  Sutton down with cramp with 15 to go. Just didn’t have the legs in the end.

Great goal from Hancock and a superb effort from all concerned but just too much to ask against a huge team today.

I was impressed with the way Parkie's 2nd half reorganisation made quite the difference, some very inventive thinking could have got us an extra point or 3

Three defeats in eight days, albeit amidst some extreme and exacting circumstances.

Next Saturday's FA Cup tie at Gateshead now carries even more significance in order to avoid our season becoming somewhat derailed. There's the small matter of £22,629 being up for grabs, too.

Let's hope that the casualty list is reduced by then and Covid is duly kept at bay.

Can you pay on the day as usual at Gateshead, or do you need a printer or smartphone or something to attend?

Don't Gateshead have an unbeaten home record (not to mention our poor record there)?

Still, we should be alright, as long as there's no further nonsense.

It seems that Guiseley had 15 players unavailable for their game yesterday and had to sign 6 players so they could fulfill their fixture.

If true that is ridiculous. Those chumps that run the league should have a serious word with themselves.

What on earth is their goalkeeper attempting to do with the shot from Tom Peers that led to Alty's opening goal?!
