Or perhaps "Club 1874", which sounds like the sort of holiday company that George Heslop still books his Summer breaks with...

Excellent news.....good luck.
-
What league will you be playing in next year? Any chance of a derby game against Northwich Villa?
Hope to see you back in the same league as us in the next couple of years, these boxing day games against Droylsden and Stalybridge just aren't the same.

One of the funniest things I've seen on this forum for a long time.
Cult, I hereby do charge you with a laundrettes bill in the outer sale area. :D
-
Aye good luck, where will you be playing your home games?
-
they have obviously not got that far yet . they have only just decided to have a new club will take weeks to decide where they will play , possibly winsford posssibly runcorn flixton or stafford

I think there is a missed opportunity here - the name of Northwich Victoria stands out because of the celebration of the reigning monarch in the name of the club when founded.
The timing of the formation of the new club in Her Majestys Diamond Jubilee year gives you an opportuity to clearly demonstrate continuity with the past - and the long history of Northwich Victoria - by calling the club Northwich Elizabeth

Or the "Oooooh Betties" :D

1874, the attendance Mr Rushe expected each game when the town turns out to support them :-*

That's more like it.

More likely to be either Witton or Winsford but apprantly Witton are not the favourites as some of there stewards suffered horrible abuse from certain fans the last time we ground shared there.Lostock Gralam FC have tried and failed to get planning permission for floodlights so there ground would be unsuitable for NWC

It will be a very long time before the Vics new club reach the same heights at they reached before. There is no way that Witton will let the new club play at their ground. I would rather have boxing day/NYD games with Witton than Northwich.

Whys that the crowds wouldnt be as big for a start ::)
-
Because the Witton supporters didn't let their club die
-
ouch!
The past couple of owners bear the brunt of that responsibility.

northwich liz, look forward to beating you in the near future !!!

Or better still, Northwich Republic

Because I think the Vics supporters could have done more to oust the previous 2 owners. I don't remember too many complaints about Jim Rushe from Vics supporters when you won the league and beating Charlton. I would think if Alty were in a similar situation. The Alty supporters I think would have put up a better fight to save the club. I don't think Hughesy or Ecky would have accepted having owners like Connet or Rushe being in charge of Altrincham FC

harsh
-
What do you think Hughsey and Ecky would have done Cestrian?

Or better still, Northwich Republic
yes yes yes

They plus many other supporters wouldn't let our club die would they?
-
trouble is if a chairman buys the club its not that easy to get rid of em,look at united,so while supporters shout about the chairman,or stop going to games in droves(which is no help to the players) if you get a stubbon chairman then you are snookered.I do feel sorry to some extent for Vics true fans
-
United fans really managed to oust the Glaziers didnt they.
Now't can be done if the owners dont budge. Not Vics fans fault at all.
