Dave "slob" Ryan was given a lot of grief but deep down I think there was respect for him.

For me it has to be a Droylsden player who "offered me out" about 2004 I think, short arsed right back, even their keeper was laughing. More recently the knobhead Cambridge player giving it the score with his fingers end of last season, what was the point in that. Also Bentley of Morecambe, never took banter the fat git.

Metal Mickey defo and I just felt sorry for Nicky Wood, was amusing in its own little way as never known a player to complain to the ref about the fans :)

Nicky wood, haha, actually got booked for arguing with the golf road. And wore number 11 playing at right back!

I'll go with ecky and say FAAAARRRRRREEELLLLYY!!!! Price could get the nod but some of the things I heard said to that man were nothing short of chilling! So I'll give him a break for once!

Forshaw for me by a country mile. Never forgave him for half maiming Alex Stepney the week before the Leyton Orient game. I'm still convinced he wouldn't have conceded their equaliser if he'd been fully fit.

There was talk the following season of us signing Forshaw, and I wrote to Noel White and told him that I would never step inside Moss Lane again if we signed such a thug. Fortunately common sense prevailed and we dropped our interest in him.

Ryan Price for me for his goading of the Alty fans and the fact he did it when he played for Macc, and then Forshaw for his disgusting elbow on Stepney, which I remember clearly even now.

I can still see Alex Stepney in my mind's eye, lying poleaxed on the floor with his concerned colleagues surrounding him
