Anybody heard how Matty  is after being injured last Sat. I saw him leaving on crutches after the game. Hope he didnt do his cruciate.

the NLP said it was a suspected Cruciate jobbie.  fingers crossed.

what IS a cruciate ligament anyway Dr?

Terrible news if true. I think Matt has been a really decent performer these past 18 months or so. Fingers crossed it's not as serious as first feared.

Unless we're going to play Young at LB every game (something I consider unlikely), you'd have thought a long-term injury to Doughty would force GH's hand and mean we'll play three at teh back and Nicky Clee will almost always start?

Doughty has been my man for the biggest improver in the squad. I think he has been rock at left back recently.
