Doran leaving
« on: May 04, 2010, 09:04:57 PM »

Personally I am sad to see that Peter Doran is leaving us to try his luck elsewhere.

I thought he was a decent player who would maybe improve next season...

I often noticed Alty players having a pop at him during games so maybe he didnt fit in....

Good luck with where ever you end up Pete

Big Mac and Welch also off......

Good luck all 3 - especially Welchy who deserves some luck more than most.

Personally I don't think Welch and Mcaliskey were good enough if we want to improve, they are not conference standard.

Bit of a shame about Doran though, thought he looked promising.

I had high hopes of him. Maybe he's had an approach from someone - good luck to him anyway.

I certainly thought he had potential, but that's only half the battle.
It's no disaster that he's leaving, but we could do with another attacking midfielder now.

I agree that I'm more downhearted about Doran, shame about Welch....I have no doubts at all that JM wil reappear at Moss Lane sometime in the future and look a world beater...probably playing for Barrow or Gateshead........

Not arsed about Mcalisky,he tried but wasn't good enough. Welch was very unlucky with injuries and i thought Doran was average. On the whole i'm not overly fussed about any of them going.
