I know it's easy to say, but when one weak team sits back against another weak team, it's an open invite to the attacking team. I'm surprised at Kenny, but full credit to a spirited Bath team and pretty decent radio commentators too.

The commentators were decent, fair and blissfully devoid of the habitual patronising and ill-informed drivel that we usually have to suffer.

Feels like two points squandered....but it sounded like we were grateful to escape with a draw in the end.

To suggest that the substitutions determined the result is strange given a) Alty were under pressure substantially for the whole of the half b) when Twiss came off ; Alty were already behind.

Really disappointing obviously, but here's the form update:-

http://www.footballwebpages.co.uk/formGuide/confprem?count=8

Of course 3 points would've been better, but in a way having lost a 2 goal lead with 20 mins to go and not losing is a good sign as far as I'm concerned. Sure we've got some tough games coming up but we've got to play them sometime this season and why not now after 1 defeat in 8? If we can maintain the massive improvement in results we've had since Eastbourne even with the odd Histon and Heed thrown in, we've got every chance of getting out of this.

It sounded like we took the lead against the run of play but we had a good spell when we got the second and we should have been able to win from there. So it seems like two points dropped to me.

I can understand bringing Danylyk on because I thought he made us more solid when he came on last week.

Bath have done this a number of times this season, coming from behind, we hung on well for the last 20 mins, in the scheme of things,..... this was a good result.

We are now only 4 points off safety, only 1 defeat in 8 games. After Eastborne anybody out there really thought we would be here. I think we are looking much more solid again and when Denham and Smith are back, I think we can take points in our next 3 games, especially pleased to see Clee performing and staying fit, the cup is over half full now for me ;) ;) ;) ;) ;D

Quite shockingly they appeared to know the names of the Altrincham players.

From Blue Square Premier we learn the following usual drivvle.........

"League strugglers Bath City and Altrincham did battle at Twerton Park, with both teams desperately in need of the three points.

It was the Romans who seized the early advantage with midfielder Nicky Clee putting the visitors ahead in the 38th minute.

Michael Twiss doubled Adie Britton's sides lead with a goal just after the break before Lee Phillips pulled one back for the Robins in the 63th minute.

The striker completed a brace 11 minutes later to draw the visitors level and neither side was able to deliver the killer blow in the closing stages".

Just when we thought we had decent commentators, the crap journalists return :D :D :D :D

Fair play, Alty were never behind as you quite correctly state but the lead was already eroded when changes happened.

As we have seen the axe fall previously for supposed "dips in form" who will suffer now?
