Altrincham councill
« on: January 09, 2008, 08:28:57 AM »

I was horrified to see last night on my journey home last night to see the councill removing the Xmas lights.

Did they not hear that the mighty Alty had just won 2 1 ???

They should have invited Graham to turn them back on for another week.

Stunning new town centre my arse

Someone with a similar oppinion of Alty town centre as mine. I also wondered why take the lights down after a brill win, particullarly in a town centr described as"a vibrant shopping centre". By the council of course, even though there are mostly bars, banks, estate agents and boarded up shops.
