FA Trophy 4th Round:  Altrincham 1-0 Barrow

The last time we got drawn at home in the FA Cup or Trophy and won.

Nearly NINE YEARS!!

Our once proud cup fighting pedigree truly is a distant memory.    :(

I take your point mate and our record is pathetic but we have had a large number of away ties in that time.

Still it is quite unbelievable especially when you think cup games are the only matches the players could get a bonus in.

This.

I couldnt care less if youre here for the money or not, but we paid for you lads to go to Napa or somewhere for getting to the 1st round (realistically our minimum aim every year)

We'd have probably sent you somewhere again if we'd done a little better

Bay Leek Hungerford, another win in the FaT or   Trafford Corby Colwyn Bay in FA Cup - We havent arsed messed up this cup run.

I sincerley hope we go on another mazy unbeaten run like we did off the back of Burton. Furious

Ah yes, joyous memories of Colin Little's dramatic additional time header right in front of the Barrow hordes gathered at the Chequers End.

Fabulous scenes, with Barry Chuckle being forcibly evicted towards the end for being one of the worlds oddest men.

They were 'giving it the fingers' and shouting see next Tuesday at the very same time the ball went in........great stuff

Was it Grays up next ?..........about 45 points clear at the top of Conf South although nobody had ever heard of them 3 years earlier

Anytime you have a 50-50 chance of getting something right, there's a 90% probability you'll get it wrong.
