I'm not sure that "mouth-watering" is the first adjective which springs to mind when I think of our fixture at Colchester United.

Our tie is hardly mouthwatering - if so lets see how many tickets we sell

Regards Salford, well to be honest it was the obvious pick from an all round dull draw

Lets get on with it

We got pretty good coverage in the last round all in

One has to remember that both Altrincham's FA Cup games have been covered by the BBC.

Right, let's go back to last season shall we?

Warrington Town beat a League Club at Home in R1

In R2 they were drawn at home again, against a League Club, in a tie they could possible win

SO

The BBC put them back on again!

Fast forward to this season

Salford City beat a League Club at home in R1

In R2 they are drawn at home again, this time against a team who seem to always be at the bottom of L2 and who were beaten in the Cup last Season by Blyth Spartans

If I were choosing a potential upset to televise I'd pick it too

In last season's FA Cup Second Round, Warrington Town were drawn away at Gateshead.

That match was actually televised by BT Sport and not the BBC.

I think the BBC have been excellent to us so far.  They can only show one live game, and neither of ours to be fair was the standout fixture.

Stupid remark by the woman at Salford though.

Agreed.  It smacks of a lack of experience to me.  We all make mistakes, so long as its not a habit.
