Altrincham FC First Team / Get gown to Moss Lane tonight!!

There have been a lot of messages recently on the forum of how people would like to support the Football Club going forward & tonight there is an early opportunity to put some of those intentions into action.There are still tickets available for the '30th Anniversary Celebration of our FA Trophy Final victory over Leatherhead at Wembley' & even if you weren't an Alty fan at that time, this is a great chance to come down to Moss Lane & have a drink to celebrate the fact that we will be playing Blue Square Premier Football next season!

The event starts at 7.30pm in The Noel White Suite & tickets are £10 including a Hot Pot Supper & Souvenir Programme.

You can buy tickets on the door, however if you are planning to come & haven't purchased your tickets yet, would you please ring the club on 0161 928 1045 or Grahame or Karen Rowley on 0772 0606 897 to help with planning for catering purposes.

Tony Sanders & virtually all of the 1978 team will be there...it would be great to get as many Alty fans as possible in attendance as well.

Altrincham FC First Team / Player of The Year Voting & Horse/Race Sponsorship

In order that we can get the Trophies engraved for the Player of The Year Presentation on Saturday April 12th,the deadline for voting is this Saturday (March 29th).This is also the deadline for sponsoring Horses (£5) & Races (£25) for the Race Night on the same evening.

Voting slips/Sponsorship Forms can be given to any member of the STAR Board (Paul Daine,Peter Lewis,Mike Ainsworth,Dawn Abbot,Mark Murray,Steve Raftery,Brian Flynn) or left in the Club Shop before the game against Torquay.

The new flag has been ordered.

Thankyou to all of those people who have donated.... the total to date is £180

After quite a lot of deliberation we have gone for the largest flag available which is 25 feet by 12.5 feet

The total cost is £239.18 $:-\$

The flag has been paid for.....well it's on my Visa Card

but if anyone else wishes to make a donation & become a part owner then I would be glad to get your pledges!!

We are hoping that the flag will make it's debut at Aldershot in a fortnight

There will be reports on Tuesday on Radio Manchester's Sport Programme between 7.00-10.00pm.

The only other games being covered are Oldham Athletic v Swindon Town & Mansfield Town v Bury so we should get fairly frequent reports on our match!

Altrincham FC First Team / Flag Appeal!!!!

My elder child & three of his mates have each stumped up £15 to buy a new Alty flag.I will put in £30 so that makes £90 for which we can get a half decent flag

.If we could get another £30-£50 then we could get a great big huge massive gigantic enormous one that would motivate the lads & really impress the opposition & their fans.

P.S. To make it a bit different from the other great flags we have, the design will be a Denmark flag with Black lettering on the white horizontal band saying 'ALTRINCHAM F.C.' The Denmark flag is predominantly red with a white cross.
