Our away form is just tailing off a touch, though I accept it was absolutely exceptional earlier in the season. I'd be reasonably happy with a draw, providing we turn Grays over at the weekend.

Considering the final run-in we've got against virtually all the top clubs, we could do with 6 points from the next two if we are to consolidate our top half finish (perhaps even sneaking 9th place!)

i think it's a big one tonight. If we get the 3 points we can go up to 9th and be 8 points off the playoffs. With a possible win on Saturday we could really be in the mix, especially again if Oxford beat wimbledon.

Isn't it great that we can read this and smile knowing that tonights result was disappointing but there is only one person who thinks it's a disaster. The rest of us look down the table to the bottom, realise it's a long way away and smile about the fact tonights loss doesn't cause panic as another game goes by and we haven't gained on FGR / Grays etc. (some of us then remember a similar position in thev90's and shudder'.....no surely not)

I'm not sure about the 'Shape up quick' reference, the club and team have made steady progress over the past 3-4 seasons.
The spend spend spend attitude has got both us and a load of other clubs into a right mess.
Patience is what is required ?
