I don't blame them here, Salisbury is not an easy place to get to, so Barrow to there will be 6-7 hour journey, this couldn't be done on the day of a game. However it is abit early to be leaving.

i think most of their training is done in salford, so they may be having a good session - then making their way down south.

Most of their lads are based in Liverpool and Manchester so The Windmill is an ideal pick up point. Salisbury is a fair hike so if you've got the cash, which i presume they have after last years cup run, then a stop over is a good shout. I'll be staying over when we play them in March.

We didn't stay over before Hayes & Yeading. Not sure about Grays.

We didn't stay over for Grays. the club are only planning for 2 overnight stays this season, Eastbourne and Crawley. In an ideal world you'd assume that staying overnight is better preparation so I look on it that every time we win away from home we receive a bonus of about £1,500 - winning the game and getting away with not stopping over!  ;D
