Solihull appear to be a very well organised and tough side. Their games look close but it suggests we won't be afforded many opportunities tomorrow night so we need to take our chances.

Joe Sbarra has been getting a lot of attention and I'm interested to watch him play.

Sbarra looked very impressive when Solihull Moors outclassed us at the J Davidson Stadium last season. James Ball always looks like a skilful individual, too.

Plus they've got Andrew Dallas, who enjoyed a productive goalscoring run at Weymouth last season during a loan spell from Cambridge United, which included two goals in our away defeat versus the Terras last May.

Against the backdrop of our somewhat depleted squad, I'd settle for a draw.

That team is a nightmare. COVID wiped half the team out. Sounds like some not double jabbed so have to isolate due to positive test from someone on the coach to Eastleigh

Tuned into BT to see that Tom Walker now plays for us!

Delighted with that one, he's a class act.

makes me laugh how being double jabbed is any different for single or zero given it changes nothing for transmission

We had 2 of our 1st choice back 5 and, arguably, none of our 1st choice front 4!

That was never going to be easy!

Spot on Wayne - many things crackers - just cannot get my head round how people just soak up the bull........and yes an insane crowd for a Tuesday.

Did well with a scratch team but had better chances than them. They took theirs better which is no surprise but hey ho.

Hope we can ID that idiot and ensure he gets a visit from the dibble.

Looking at all the results tonight if we had won we would only have moved up 1 place Stockport wrexham and Grimbsy all lost tonight so mot much damage done all in all with a patched up team not a total disaster hope TT is available for Saturday.

Solihull played a better game, especially second half. Two well taken goals, a lot of lovely passing and movement. Having said that Colclough would have set them a load of puzzles and created space elsewhere.

Yes, that sums up the match well Solihull were the better team, but our scratch team did pretty well, even if we did miss some of the absent players.

The biggest triumph was the success of the promotion, bringing in the huge crowd. Unfortunately, so many such events, not just for us, seem to end in defeat....

Should we have played as we did with a weakened team or should we have tried to call the game off with the loss of TV revenue and goodwill from the newcomers, even if we were allowed to? I don't know, and probably think we should have played, although I can certainly see why people might think otherwise.
